Abstract
Eighteen patients who developed varicella while being treated for malignancy received human leukocyte interferon in a randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial. Complications of varicella occurred in six of nine placebo recipients, but in only two of nine interferon recipients. Interferon was tolerated without significant side effects. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
