Abstract
Antisymmetric, radially correlated and LS-coupled hyperspherical channel functions are constructed for an analysis of the dynamics of atomic electrons at high density. A fractional parentage expansion, utilizing analytic transformations between alternative couplings of radial motions, is developed and applied. A program for the construction of states for an arbitrary number of electrons has been developed, and sample results are reported for as many as six electrons with equal orbital quantum numbers, l.Keywords
