Right-sided aorta. I. Occurrence of right aortic arch in various types of congenital heart disease. II. Right aortic arch, right descending aorta, and associated anomalies.

Abstract
A series of 116 children and young adults with a right-sided aortic arch proven by angiography or necropsy were analyzed. The findings were compared with reported data in subjects with and without congenital heart disease. Knowledge of the statistical distribution of a right-sided aortic arch among the various types of congenital heart disease is probably important for the understanding of the pathogenesis of some forms of congenital heart lesions.
