Abstract
A girl is reported in whom a staphylococcal septicemia involved the left wrist a few weeks after birth and at the age of 12 years the left lunate is not ossified. The possible etiologic factors are discussed. It is considered likely that a septic focus destroyed the left lunate while it was cartilaginous. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
