Abstract
The micro-enzyme-labeled immunosorbent assay (MICROELISA) was used successfully for the subtyping of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) virus strains recovered rom field outbreaks [in cattle]. The rabbit anti-guinea pig Ig-peroxidase conjugate employed in the indirect MICROELISA has the advantage of being used with any of the 7 types of FMD virus.
