Abstract
Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) prepared from four different species of Neisseria have been separated by SDS – polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Each LPS possessed a characteristic mobility on gels. Examination of the effect of acrylamide concentration on migration illustrated that the basis of the separation was molecular size, and not intrinsic charge. Keywords
