RadioactiveSi31

One gamma ray of energy 1.26 Mev is found to accompany 0.07 percent of the disintegrations of ${\mathrm{Si}}^{31}$. The thermal neutron atomic activation cross section for the reaction ${\mathrm{Si}}^{30}(n, \gamma ){\mathrm{Si}}^{31}$ is observed to be 2.9±0.3 millibarns.
