Abstract
The high degree of variability peculiar to analytical soil survey data has generally precluded its systematic characterization. This paper deals with the application of the Statistical Prediction Technique to such data and contains eight contour maps of surface mineral horizons to illustrate the results. In addition, significant correlation coefficients between properties of the A horizons are included. It is expected that information yielded by this approach would be useful for soil utilization and for field mapping. Keywords
