Abstract
(1) Binary fission, schizogony and gametogenesis are reported in cultures of Boderia turneri, a shallow-water marine foraminifer. (2) Boderia produces biflagellate gametes with a heterokont type flagellation known to be characteristic of certain algae.Keywords
