Abstract
Reproduction in ticks is discussed under the following: gametogenesis, meeting of the sexes, copulation, spermatophores, sperm relocation, syngamy, sperm longevity, and oviposition. The relationships among gametogenesis, copulation, oviposition and feeding are emphasized. Speculative suggestions as well as published and unpublished data are provided.Keywords
