Abstract
A new wavelength division multiplexed data gathering network is proposed and demonstrated. The sensor multiplexing architecture operaters in the 1.5 μm fibre transmission window using a broadband superfluorescent erbium doped fibre source and fibre Bragg reflection gratings.
