Abstract
Relativistic heavy ion reactions are reviewed in terms of our present understanding of some selected experimental results from the LBL Bevalac and the CERN ISR. The Lund Model for nucleus-nucleus collisions is presented and its power of predictivity is illustrated. Keywords
