Noncollinear Ferromagnetism in (III,Mn)V Semiconductors

  • 27 July 2001
Abstract
Motivated by spin-wave calculations for kinetic exchange models with randomly distributed Mn ions, we suggest that noncollinear ferromagnetism is common in (III,Mn)V semiconductors. We address conditions that favor the occurrence of this state and discuss unusual behavior that we predict for the temperature and field dependence of its saturation magnetization.
