Abstract
SUICIDE IS currently the third leading cause of death among young adults aged 15 to 34 years,1 and the Surgeon General has identified it as one of the top public health concerns in the United States today.2 Suicidal ideation and attempts are among the most important risk factors for completed suicide.3,4 Thus, understanding the prevalence and correlates of suicidality is crucial for both clinicians and health care policy makers. Keywords
