Abstract
Early Ordovician graptolite-bearing sequences in Britain, Scandinavia, China, Australia, the United States, Canada, and Argentina are reviewed in some detail. Inter- and intra-continental correlations, with reference to the standard British succession between the base of the Tremadocian and the zone of Glyptograptus teretiusculus, are attempted. In conclusion, those species, genera, and faunas are noted whose occurrence seems to have universal correlative value. Keywords
