The photometric estimation of cobalt

Abstract
The Pulfrich photometer is employed for the estimation of small amts. of Co, giving a rapid and very accurate method of color comparison, the use of filters making removal of Fe unnecessary. The method is based on the formation of the red complex of Co and nitroso-R-salt. On grasses and biol. material results are reproduced to an accuracy within 0.1 p.p.m.
