Abstract
The Al27 pure quadrupole resonances in AlBr3 are reported. With the addition of these data, the quadrupole coupling constants of all the atoms in the structure of five group III halides are known. For these cases it has been possible to determine complete self‐consistent electron distributions for the molecules. In addition, for two of the compounds it has been possible to determine bond angles and establish the existence of bent bonds in the molecules. Keywords
