Abstract
Dynamic stability analysis of a large interconnected power system is extremely time consuming and laborious and may even exceed the storage capacity of modem fast computers because of the high order of the A matrix. Hence methods have been developed here to obtain simplified models of the systems based on the speed of response of the variables or the modes. Keywords
