Abstract
The biochemical interrelationships of the pigments iridoskyrin, islandicin, rubroskyrin, luteoskyrin and skyrin in P. islandicum were investigated. The specific radio-activity/time curves of the pigments were determined after feeding the mold for a short time with C14_iabelled acetate. Analysis of 3 curves indicates that the pigments are formed independently of each other. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
