Abstract
The increases in blood lactate in exercise are the same in chronically sympathectomized as in normal dogs. Whether sympathectomized or not, dogs show no response in respect of blood lactate after ingesting glucose or after insulin is injected. The increase in blood lactate after inj. of a given dose of adrenalin is greater in adrenalectomized than in normal dogs, and is greatest in totally sympathectomized dogs. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
