Abstract
Contrary to the claim made by Das, it is shown that there is an arbitrariness in the solutions of the chiral Schwinger model. The results, which have been obtained by employing the point-splitting method, can be put in one-to-one correspondence with those of Jackiw and Rajaraman. Keywords
