Abstract
The aneurysm produced chiefly posterior hypothalamic disturbances (low body temp.) in episodes indis- tinguishable from surgical shock, over a 25-yr. period. In the author''s opinion, trauma might over-stimulate and thus fatigue the hypothalamie nuclei, thereby initiating the rapid development of shock. Keywords
