Abstract
The comparative cytology of the G. hirsutum x G. longicalyx hybrid and previously analysed Gossypium hybrids indi-cates that G. longicalyx represents a unique Gossypium cytotype. The new cytotype is designated the F genome and G. longicalyx is assigned to the F1 subgenome. G. longicalyx is transferred from section Stocksi-ana to LONGICALYCIANA, sect. nov. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
