Abstract
Correlated wave functions obtained by solving the Bethe-Goldstone equation with realistic nuclear interactions are employed to calculate Coulomb shifts, isospin mixing, Coulomb energies, and coefficients of the isobaric mass formula in -shell nuclei. Improved agreement with experiment is obtained, particularly for the Coulomb shifts and isospin mixing which are not sensitive to the size parameter. No evidence is found favoring a charge-dependent component in the nuclear force.
