Charge-Exchange Scattering of Low-EnergyMesons in Hydrogen

Abstract
The momentum dependence of the cross section for the reaction has been determined. The data are analyzed in terms of an effective-range approximation to the phase shifts. A comparison is made to other studies of low-energy interactions, and the data are used to infer the existence of a -wave bound state.
