Abstract
Summary Hydroxychloroquine sulfate has been given for a period of 3 months to 22 patients with definite rheumatoid arthritis showing blood sludging in the retinal veins. The permanent disappearance of the sludging has been recorded in 20 within 2—8 weeks. The possible significance of the phenomenon is briefly discussed. Keywords
