Abstract
The response of Ni3(AI, Hf) single crystals to repeated compression under constant strain rate along the [123] orientation has been studied within the domain of temperature of the flow stress anomaly. The influence of the prestraining temperature on the plastic behaviour has been investigated for various temperatures, with attention paid to the microdeformation stage. The results are interpreted in terms of the competition between the creation and the depletion of the mobile mixed segments within a microstructure that consists of arrays of kinked Kear-Wilsdorf locks. Keywords
