Abstract
An optimum water distribution system is designed using linear programming. The proposed algorithm, developed by applying an analogy of electrical network theory, discusses a distribution system with multiple supply points in comparison to an earlier paper by Gupta where the distribution system was restricted to only one source. The electrical network analogy is fully explained and a case example with two sources of supply is solved. Keywords
