Abstract
The functions and structure of the pericardial glands (Keber's organ) of bivalves were reviewed by White (1942). The cells of this gland have been considered to have an excretory role and Grobben (1887) suggested that the cells of the pericardial gland could be compared with the chloragogen cells of annelids. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
