Abstract
Learning machines have posed a challenge to the electronics engineer for many years. Most work has stemmed from making simple models of the neurons of the brain. It is likely, however, that, with digital cells intended for construction in microcircuit form (not necessarily as brain-cell models), new learning machines that are much more powerful than their predecessors can be made. Keywords
