Abstract
The results of magnetic-susceptibility, resistivity, and specific-heat measurements on show that the magnetic ordering temperature decreases linearly with increasing x with the dominance of Kondo compensation effects even in the magnetically ordered regime, also for x=0.9; this indicates that the periodicity of the Ce ions does not play any role in deciding the interesting characteristics for , particularly the breakdown of de Gennes scaling. Our results place the interpretations of recent quasielastic linewidth measurements on the competition between magnetism and Kondo effect on a firm footing.
