Abstract
Seven cases of megaloblastic anemia due to nutritional folic-acid deficiency are reported. They were seen during a period of 18 months at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, which suggests that nutritional folic acid deficiency is more common in this country than has hitherto been generally recognized. The inadequate dietary intake of these patients was not due to poverty; all, however, suffered from extreme apathy and lack of interest in food. Keywords
