Abstract
A total of 5 males with bilateral nonpalpable testes are presented. In all instances, the testes were localized by laparoscopy. Only one patient had unilateral anorchia at laparotomy which was demonstrated by this technique. Laparoscopy may be more accurate than other nonoperative techniques for localizing nonpalpable testes. It facilitates surgical planning and may obviate the need for surgical exploration in some patients.
