Abstract
The assay of serum and CSF rubella and RNA antibodies in 3 patients (2 multiple sclerosis and 1 progressive rubella panencephalitis) shows their predominant local (intrathecal) syntheses. This correlation suggests that RNA antibodies may by directed against the viral genome itself.
