Abstract
This position paper is based on research concerned with the usefulness of various program design methodologies in producing maintainable software. The position is taken that these methodologies will produce maintainable code only when the strategies they provide to programmers for dividing the problem up into more manageable parts are consistent with their internal representation of the problem. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
