A patient with Cogan's syndrome, additional ocular findings characteristic of periarteritis nodosa, and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis associated with an acute febrile illness is presented. Though the categorical relationship of this patient's disease to periarteritis nodosa remains uncertain, the unique constellation of findings further emphasizes the intimate relationship of Cogan's syndrome to inflammatory vascular disease.
