Abstract
A remotely positioned PIN diode was built and has been used for x-ray and electron dosimetry. The data for a plot of dose vs distance (1 meter) for various degrading foils can be obtained for 40 or 50 data points in a few minutes. These data can, in turn, be used for rapid predetermined changes in the Linac dose rate without retuning the accelerator. Keywords
