Abstract
A time-limited, semi-structured therapy group for women survivors of child sex abuse is described. Assessment involved one or two one hour sessions with the two group facilitators and criteria for inclusion were: a) women should feel positive about the group approach; b) there was some degree of stability in their lives and c) the sexual abuse was of primary concern. Post-group evaluation suggested that meaningful improvements in self-esteem had occurred, although wariness was still experienced concerning sexual relationships. Keywords
