Abstract
To describe the translation and validation of the Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC) Use Questionnaire. The NIC Use Questionnaire was translated to Korean using back-translation and three criteria to test the semantic, content, and technical equivalence of the original and translated version. Three factors made translation difficult including structural differences in the two languages, long modifier phrases in English, and nonequivalent words in Korean. This translation facilitates communication among nurses. The findings suggest a method for similar validation in other languages. Keywords
