Abstract
Since the ultimate language abilities of deaf children are dependent in large part upon the age at which their deafness is recognized and acted upon, early detection of hearing loss is vital. Whether the habilitation will be through auditory or oral or manual lan guage training, the earlier it is begun the more effective it will be.Keywords
