Abstract
Duodenal peptic ulcers are not rare in childhood; 35 cases are reported over a 10-year period. Symptoms may be atypical; pain at night is common. This disease should be considered in all children with obscure abdominal symptoms. Medical treatment should be instituted promptly, since the prognosis in older children with chronic ulceration is by no means favorable. Keywords
