Analysis of the differential sum rule for laser-induced free-free transitions

Abstract
It is shown that the theoretically derived and experimentally observed differential sum rule for free-free transitions, induced by a long-wavelength laser, is an exact analog to the mutual cancellation of the infrared contributions of spontaneous bremsstrahlung and radiative corrections.Keywords
