Abstract
This report describes the first successful treatment of tricuspid stenosis by percutaneous double balloon valvotomy. There was a dramatic reduction of the tricuspid valve gradient, with an increase in calculated valve area, together with an increase in resting cardiac output and symptomatic relief. The feasibility of the non-surgical treatment of severe tricuspid stenosis was demonstrated unequivocally. Keywords
