Abstract
Aqueous extracts of Ocimum sanctum and O. basilicum leaves contained compounds that killed Meloidogyne incognita larvae in 160 min. TLC, GLC and IR spectrophotometry indicated that the essential oils eugenol and linalool were the active nematocidal compounds.
