Abstract
Dielectric and piezoelectric properties of composites containing PbTiO3 dispersed in araldite matrix having 0-3 connectivity have been measured. The results indicate that the measured values of dielectric constant and piezoelectric charge constant were strongly influenced by the relative proportions of the two constituents and the poling conditions. The theoretical relation proposed by Yamada et al. was applied to the experimental results and a good agreement between the theoretical and experimental results was obtained. Keywords
