Abstract
Aphidius eadyi n. sp., a parasitoid of Acyrthosiphon pisum in the west Palearctic is described. Its distribution and interspecific relations (crossing experiments) to a related species, Aphidius smithi, are elucidated. The new species has been found to be a promising agent in biocontrol of the pea aphid, Acyrthosiphon pisum, whereas it does not parasitize the blue alfalfa aphid, A. kondoi. Keywords
