Onchidoris fusca (Muller); A Predator of Barnacles

Abstract
This common inshore nudibranch feeds on barnacles. Dorid effects entry by rupture and downward displacement of operculum, and feeds only on soft parts of barnacle. It is probable that ingestion takes place largely by suction, involving action of buccal crop, presence of which in this and certain other dorids is associated with a much reduced radula.
