Rotational invariance and molecular collisions

Abstract
Direct relations are presented between the transition operator and the three reduced transition matrices defined in the collision theory of Curtiss and his co‐workers. It is shown that the existence of each reduced transition matrix may be separately derived from the rotational invariance property of the transition operator.Keywords
