Abstract
Three cases of multicystic kidney disease are reported, one in a surviving identical twin in whose sister bilateral multicystic kidney disease was found at necropsy. The 2nd case fits the usually accepted criteria of unilateral involvement and apparent absence of function on the affected side during urography. The 3rd case involved an adult and accidental discovery of the lesion following trauma to the abdomen. Dysplastic bone was noted in the lesion.
