Abstract
Various ketones, such as deoxybenzoin, propiophenone, phenylacetone, benzylacetone, cyclohexanone and 2-methylcyclohexanone, and aldehyde such as 3-phenylpropionaldehyde were smoothly converted to the corresponding vinyl sulfides in good yields by the treatments with thiols in the presence of TiCl4.Keywords
